My TIENS Journey: What I’m Noticing

I want to document another change I have been observing as I continue exploring the TIENS wellness line.

Today I took Chitosan, waited approximately one hour, and then opened my Spirulina, Cordyceps, and Cell Rejuvenation capsules. I mixed the contents first with a small amount of water to form a paste, then added more water until the cup was full. It was room temperature water… so powders were easily dissolved.

Hydration has become an intentional part of how I use these products. The protocol I have been following emphasizes drinking adequate fluid alongside the supplements and tea, so I continue adding water throughout the day rather than treating the supplements as something separate from hydration.

Then I ate.

I had prepared five lamb loin chops along with wild-caught scallops, kelp, onions, garlic, lemon rind, and sauerkraut.

I was very hungry when I began eating.

Yet after two loin chops, I was completely satisfied.

Perhaps because my body had already received a substantial amount of nutrients before I ate, it simply took from the meal what it needed to feel adequately nourished. It also makes sense to me that taking the supplements before the meal gives those concentrated nutrients a head start, rather than introducing everything at once and potentially creating competition for absorption. In that sense, the supplementation and the meal can work together rather than against each other. A win-win.

This is becoming a pattern: I seem to be eating less without deliberately trying to eat less. My body simply reaches satisfaction sooner.

I noticed something else yesterday. After being away from nuts for quite some time (in fact since after my prolonged fast), I ate walnuts and sprouted almonds and subsequently developed noticeable itching in my feet and legs.

Later that evening I took Chitosan. I opened the capsules, mixed the contents into water, and drank it. Within approximately five minutes, I noticed that the itching had subsided.

That experience caught my attention.

I am continuing to observe rather than rush past these changes: appetite, satiety, food responses, hydration, relaxation, sleep, inflammation, and the other signals my body gives me.

This journey is becoming as much about learning to hear, listen and understand my body more clearly as it is about the products themselves.

And I think that may be one of the most important discoveries of all.

This is my personal TIENS journey and reflects what I am noticing in my own body and wellness practice. I share it for education, reflection, and exploration… and not as a prescription for what anyone else should do or might notice in their own body.
