Tooth Pain After Amalgam Removal: What I Noticed With Targeted Nutrient Support
When I had my amalgam removed in January 2026, the area did not hurt initially.
The pain came later.
I began noticing it whenever I flossed around that particular tooth. After a while, I almost expected it: floss that area, feel the pain.
Then I began my targeted nutrient supplementation.
About a week or so into taking my supplements, something changed.
The pain stopped.
But here is the interesting part:
I did not notice immediately.
A few days ago, I was flossing when the realization suddenly came to me:
Wait a minute. I don’t feel that pain anymore.
Something that had become familiar enough for me to expect it had quietly disappeared.
Sometimes We Notice the Problem Before We Notice the Change
When something hurts, we tend to notice every occurrence.
But when it stops hurting, the absence can be much quieter.
There was no dramatic moment when my body announced, “This has changed.”
I simply went about my life until one day I realized that something I had been experiencing was no longer there.
And that made me think differently about restoration.
What Had Changed?
By then, I had begun consistently supplying my body with targeted nutrient supplementation while continuing to pay attention to food, hydration, and the other conditions surrounding my health.
Of the supplements I was taking, I mainly associate this particular shift with Chitosan. One of the reasons I was using Chitosan was its binding properties and the role I was considering it for was in relation to heavy-metal exposure.
But I do not think about any nutrient in isolation.
My approach is broader:
targeted nutrient supplementation + real food + hydration + supportive lifestyle practices + paying attention to the body, and of course adequate sleep and movement.
Because supplementation does not eliminate the need for good nutrition and lifestyle.
It works alongside them.
Slow Does Not Mean Nothing Is Happening
We often look for dramatic evidence that something is working.
But perhaps some of the body’s most meaningful changes happen quietly.
A little less discomfort.
A little more energy.
A different appetite.
Better sleep.
A reaction that no longer occurs.
Something you suddenly realize you have not thought about in days.
The body may have been shifting before the conscious mind ever noticed.
That is one reason I continue documenting My TIENS Journey… and continue to use my TIENS targeted nutrient and cellular nutritional supplements.
I am paying attention not only to what I take, but to what my body does with the support it receives.
Because sometimes the question is not:
“Did anything happen?”
Sometimes the better question is:
“What has quietly stopped happening?”
